Our Timeline

▸ 2015 – Our launch on Zandstraat & first webshop
On June 1st, 2015, we opened our very first store at Zandstraat 107 in Beneden-Leeuwen. Starting small but focused, we offered a carefully selected range of fishing products for every angler. That same year, we also launched our very first webshop – simple, but forward-thinking – allowing us to serve customers online from the beginning.

▸ 2016 – Moved to Zandstraat 111
As our customer base grew, we moved to Zandstraat 111. The extra space allowed us to expand our product range and improve the in-store experience.

▸ 2018 – Next step: Zijveld 20
In 2018, we relocated to a larger, more professional retail space at Zijveld 20. This location gave us the opportunity to grow even further, both in product selection and service. HengelsportLauwe became a well-known name among coarse, method, carp and predator anglers.

▸ Since 2015 – Active in competitions
From day one, we've been actively involved in organizing and supporting local fishing competitions. It's part of our identity and community spirit. In 2024, we proudly became sponsor of the HengelsportLauwe Beker, a local coarse fishing competition organized by HSV Steeds Aktief in Boven-Leeuwen.

▸ 2025 – New store & renewed webshop
In 2025, we moved to our current location at Dorpsplein 40 in Beneden-Leeuwen – a central spot with more space, better accessibility and a welcoming experience for every fishing enthusiast. That same year, we launched our completely renewed webshop: more user-friendly, better organized and with an even wider product selection.
